Product Overview

If your abs pump seems to be running after every few steps on the brake pedal or if your car has a hard brake pedal, more than likely your accumulator ball has failed.

There's a rubber bladder inside the ball that deteriorates over time more than from actual use.

If you still hear your abs pump running but still have a hard brake pedal or abs light comes on, most likely the accumulator ball is the culprit.

This is a brand new ball, not rebuilt

Comes with a new O-ring

good product happy to find for a 34 year old car. you can epoxy a nut to the top to help with tight install

The pressure accumulator is the correct size and is well made. The only problem is that the accumulator does not include a fitting on the top for an allen or socket wrench wrench to tighten the accumulator to the brake master cylinder. The original accumulator had a fitting on the top to accept a large allen wrench. In the Lincoln Mark VII there is no room to reach the nut at the bottom of the accumulator, so a 15 minute job took over an hour.

It's a little larger than the stock accumulator in a 1988 Thunderbird but it will fit and does work.
